Corporate partnerships do more than fund programmes. They bring health care closer to children, place learning materials in preschool classrooms, strengthen communities, and allow Starfish to respond where the need is greatest.
Over the past 25 years, trusted partners including Investec, Sasol, Altro Limited, Advanta Wealth, and Ninety One have helped Starfish reach more children and families across South Africa. From supporting our Wellness Wagons and preschool programs to providing oral health care and essential operational support, each partnership has created an impact that extends far beyond a financial contribution.
Our latest blog celebrates the companies, and the people behind them, who continue to invest in healthier children, stronger communities, and brighter futures.
Children affected by HIV and poverty in South Africa are facing food insecurity, illness and the prospect of raising their siblings alone. If you partner with us, we can work together to:
Chris Kotze, Investec

Chris has been a part of the Investec team since 2006, but it’s his work as a Starfish trustee for the past six years that has made a difference to him. The work he does with Starfish is emotionally challenging and rewarding, and he is proud to be associated with our charity. Chris says he receives positive feedback from his colleagues when he speaks about his involvement with Starfish and believes that other employees would benefit from engaging with us and sharing their expertise. After all, working together on community projects gives employees a fantastic opportunity to grow and collaborate across different departments.
